Hunter
Ouch! hope none are in his eyes? right hand eye looks like it may have been hit.. Bet that took a while to remove. Today my kitten tried to kill a wasp, result is a nasty lump on the side of his face
Lost Magpie
It must have been going at it for hours to get that many spines. The owners are looking for a bald Porcupine to prosecute apparently

Poacher
just goes too show how hard it is to stop these dogs when their intent on killing something. Be it porcupine or small child... controversial, but true !!!
new to the flock
I would agree that it looks like an English Bull Terrier. Believe it or not that could have happened in a 30 second attack. As soon as a dog starts to roll a porky it will suffer from quills releasing from anywhere it touches. Dogs either learn to stay completely away from them after an encounter or they believe every porky needs to die and it is their mission to rid the world of them. Either way if I am in porky country.....which is very close to me.....My dogs are broke to sight and scent There is nothing worse than pulling quills...pliers on 1/4 turn counter clockwise and out. over and over and over.....That lucky ****** will go under anistetic to have his pulled. NTTF

The ONLY breed that has 'Totally Reliable' in it's breed standard. The 7th most popular dog in the UK now if ya generalise you tend to look silly but i will accept theres some dogs owned by irresponsible morons just like Guns , Cars ,knifes all of which can kill easily in the wrong hands ... just making a point controversial, but true !!! think small child death etc next time you see a car knife ,gun ,hammer etc etc and not just a Bull Terrier and the fastidious opinion may wear off btw that is an english bull terrier there great dogs i dont own one but have 1st had experiance of the breed and well just read it says it all http://bullterriers.co.uk/html/about_bull_terriers.html

jimdfish
I have a staffie called "the mop" and she ain't no devil dog. She is frightened of, in no particular order, fireworks guns fishing rods the pub cat all other cats a ****zu and a westie who live down the road didgeridoos metal doors (open or shut) pigeons if they stand their ground. Give her a tree though and shes away. she has killed more hanging tree branches than any dog in history. Jim
Lost Magpie
This taken from one of them sites sums them up: Cunningly, they pretend to be stupid, unable to understand the simplest of instructions, and so get their own way.
