Down South Posted May 18, 2022 Report Share Posted May 18, 2022 I’ve run 2 pens using second hand car batteries and 10 watt solar panels. It worked for me. Alloy framed panels bought from an auction site, not expensive. Fixed to a 6’ post to keep them above vegetation angled up to the mid day sun. Clip the panel directly to the battery.
