Bemused
We have a local road that often floods after heavy rain. At least two or three cars always end up with wrecked engines after trying to get through. I was just wondering how an electric car would go on. Andy 01
Not a problem, batteries and connectors are well sealed. If we have to go inside a battery pack to say replace an array, we have extensive leak checks/tests we have to do when putting the battery back together (smoke tests) to ensure the battery is correctly sealed before it goes back in the vehicle. I will say though that possible damaged batteries (impact and such) that are compromised, and it could be a whole different story 🙂
