30-6
Had a rabbit yesterday with 6 young in her. What's the latest in the year others have encountered pregnant rabbits ? Last week found a pigeon squab on a farm track also. Is it because of climate change and relatively warm. I cut my strawberries back and they are growing like hell all green leaves. Walker570
You know the saying.....they breed like rabbits..... I have a few rabbits in my wood/orchard and often see just out of the nest youngsters all year round, most quickly mopped up by the resident buzzard. I have found a number of broken woodie shells recently in the wood obviously from hatched young. In the last 80 years I have seen cold summers and warm winters, piles of frozen snow alongside roads in late April in the Midlands and what we called Indian summers running into November, so it is just this good old earth we live on doing it's thing. Spot on, and rhe more you live, the more you see. Nature is never always just, black or white.
