They also only did this across 7 companies, and their results showed that 86% of the deals were available either at the same price or cheaper elsewhere in the year. So what I take from that less than 1% of Black Friday deals were analysed and they were offered either at the same price or cheaper throughout the year, meaning as a consumer I had more opportunities to buy the items I want at the same or a cheaper price, and Black Friday is an opportunity to save on RRP but might not be the biggest saving throughout the year.
