Oldgun
Feeding my 9month old black lab Harringtons chicken and rice puppy,is there anything in this food that can cause an allergic skin reaction on his tummy and the area where the front legs meet the body (armpits if you like)and also plenty of wind he does two sold poo's by midday then a soft one then a very runny one.He eats very well and is very alert and fit,so realy don't know what the problem is. Any idea's chaps? ATB Oldgun m
humperdingle
Our Border Terrier always had skin irritation and dodgy guts and we tried loads of different types of food until we got the AVA sensitive food - he gets both the dry and canned food. Dave at kelton
Used it for my last two lab pups no problem but different dogs react differently to each food. I would recommend trying another hypoallergenic food and see how it goes. Your dogs 💩and wind doesn’t seem untoward but is there a lot of scratching etc, hence the irritation. Could be other things reacting with the skin such as bedding.

smokingdragon
My boy's springer turned out he had a chicken fat intolerance which made him very loose, changed to a food without chicken fat - Burns original and he's fine with that but a fair bit more expensive than Harringtons which my 2 are on!
