digger
Thought I would share how I make game chips. Probably teaching you how to suck eggs but may be of benefit to some ? Thinly slice some peeled spuds and soak in cold water for 15 - 20 minutes. Heat some decent oil in a frying pan and when it starts to give off whisps of smoke reduce the heat. Dry the slices to remove any water and fry until brown, you shouldnt need to turn them. You can use a deep fat fryer but I find a frying pan easier. Serve with pan fried pigeon breasts with some cracked sea salt and its cracking

Mungler
You keep the spuds in your pants for a day before cooking. That makes them game (for anything). Or is that makes them smell of game?
Clark539
Game chips are the best a good level of seasoning always helps. In my experience using fresh sea salt and a good freshly ground pepper corns is always the best. Incedently, why do you soak the potatoe chips first. Im new to cooking and just wondered. Cheers
