Just started my first attempt at Rams horn...

Managed to get a big bottle jack press, small single ring cooker and borrowed a jig...

Getting there slowly

Now to let it cool overnighted a bit more work before it gets shaped

Many thanks to DerbySuck for advice and Panama1 for load of Jig

Good luck with your first rams horn crook and can’t wait to see the finished stick.

When I worked for a hydraulic company, we had a cracking workshop and I made an almost identical bending jig for my father, who was always making rams horn crooks and buffalo horn crooks.

Keep us updated on your progress.
