Just as an FYI, I have seen that apparently one of the guys (if not the guy) in this video is now preaching for the other side.

But as all grants are now only available for "science" that proves climate change that can lead to changes of focus shall we say.

There is another organisation however that is predominantly staffed by people who have retired from science/academia and who don't need the grants who are putting out their views on Climate change

An interesting view on it indeed. Personally I think it’s a load of tripe and the governments of 1st world countries are having to “show” they are doing something about it. Which is why we suffer paying higher car tax and low emission zone taxes and congestion charges while countries like India/China/Russia simply don’t give a hoot and polute as much as they like without consequence.

The UK, along with several other European countries, has signed up to net zero emissions before this decade is out. It is a legal obligation despite us being a contributor of around 1%.
The USA, China, Russia and India ( the worlds biggest contributors to emissions ) have made no such obligations, legal or otherwise, other than a statement claiming they will try to reduce emissions by an approximate date. The USA have stated that they will not do this to the detriment of their economy or their people.

Our lot (Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) are just a load of virtue signallers at best - or are beholden to a supra-national non-elected organisation at worst....

This country will soon be known as The Peoples Democratic Republic of United Kingdom (but with a King as he is on the board of the organisation)

And that’s what it’s all about….smoke and mirrors. A con basically.
We import all manner of energy from some of the biggest contributors, so whilst our contribution may actually be less because we aren’t producing it, and politicians will dress it up as such, the contribution of those who supply us is increased.
Therefore the contribution overall remains the same. It’s called politics. 😂

Just to add, this all turns to poop when we fall out with those who supply us, because we will have no energy industry of our own left.
