humperdingle
I need a hand sander and some decent quality 80/120 grit paper. I’m fed up of buying packs of awful quality sandpaper and want to get some that will last a bit longer. It’s more for tidying edges rather than intricate work. What are the best options from the DIYers or craftsmen on here please? 🙂

PelletPinger
You wont go wrong with 3M or Mirka for the sand paper.

Pushkin
If you have a decent DIY shop nearby (old style) you should be able to get Emery sheets for wood work. Excellent quslity - same as original Metal working emery paper. Sold in shop near me in 6 or 7 different grades. I used it recently for sanding dowm hard plaster and it worked a treat. Taking the sharp edge of wood components - an absolute dream. Pushkin
