Like the title says I will be working just up the road from home at a spot that I walk the skinny hounds on regularly. The request went in for some some scut clearence in the summer as it was starting to effect the horses ground and no one wants to shoot a horse :good:

But the numbers have declined since then and it isn't down to mixy :good:

I will let you all know how it goes tommorrow.

We all got there at different times what with the change of clocks, zero communication between everyone and the effect of Saturday night shenanigans :good:

Most of the work was done by longnetting due to the nature of the farm and we used pursenets where the holes were visible. I took Jack along as his speed would be usefull should they bolt the way we had hoped but they didn't. We laid out 400 yards of net at one copse only to catch 3 scuts. As I said in a previous post I have been walking the dogs here a few times a week which normally produced 2 or 3 at a time but I didn't think that the team needed to know this.

The final score was 14 of which 8 were 3/4 grown and 4 had mixy.

I have 8 legs marinating in jerk and chilli sauce and will be frying them up on Monday night :good:

Blackbart, yes it is :yp:

Cranfield, it rained just as we started loading up the motors
