It's the buisness model, belt organisations, promoters and pay per view. You only have to read the comments on this thread to dlsee how fickle the public are, a boxer can be riding a wave of greatness one minute and according to that same public should retire the moment they have a loss or one bad fight. Promoters and the money machines behind boxers are too afraid of risky fights, belt organisations don't want their belt in the same place as all the others and the end result is the big fights don't happen and with pay per view, the average man is priced out of following the sport like it was back in the 90s, which is an absolute crying shame for the fans and is ruining the sport.
