Nublue 22
I am looking at second hand shot guns in the private part of this site for a friend, but when I click on the add very briefly it pops up the sellers address and phone number, is this right? BlaserF3
I was looking on Guntrader last week and the add that I looked at did show an home address. Not good enough to be honest and it must be illegal too.

7daysinaweek
Remember the data breech on Guntrader back in 2021 when adresses and tel details of tens of thousands of registered keepers were uploaded to the internet by a hacker. Just been on then and looked, currently showing contact numbers only. It would be a concern if it was found to have been doing it. They wound that company down (guntrader.uk LTD) and popped back up with a new one (guntrader media ltd), as soon as that story broke - read into that what you will but perhaps data security lessons have not been learnt
7daysinaweek
You are correct, they liquidated the company 'sharpish' after murmurs of litigation and within hours put the new one back up. Maybe so.
