I would concentrate more on the cabinet fixings and making it difficult to prise it off the wall/floor. But, at the end of day it is your local FEO that you have to appease, I would ask him. JohnfromUK Posted August 7, 2024 Report Share Posted August 7, 2024 (edited) I believe the 5 lever "Chubb" type are to BS3621 and are acceptable (as the locks). Certainly I have seen many cabinets with these and my own cabinet has these. 7 lever locks (such as the Banham M97) I think only comply with the same standard - which is principally about physical attack protection (i.e. protection from brute force attacks rather than skilled picking/manipulation).
