rebel335
i have had some silosock pigeon decoys for 4 months now used them a few time but have found pigeon very wary of them , some just drop straight in, but most get to within 5 - 10 yards and just turn of if there have be shot at. any one else had the same problem. Pinkfooty
Rebel, That sounds pretty good to me. If the deeks are bringing the pigeons into 5 - 10 yards, then you really couldn't ask for more.
MC
If they are only 5-10 yards away, WHY haven't they been shot at?

That is not a "problem", that is something working perfectly. When I decoy pigeons they don't get within 5 to 10 yards, they don't get the chance. If thats not possible for some reason, then position the decoys upwind of the hide, that way birds should pass in front of the hide to reach the decoys. The fact that the birds are coming in to the decoys, shows there is nothing wrong with the decoys, its got to be the layout, or perhaps they get in close and then see you, or the hide. That is something else you might try to improve.
