you live and learn, but i'm sure i was leathering inland gulls in the early/mid 80's and 90's

I worked part time for a Pest Control company and was shooting hundreds on landfill sites in the early 2000's.  Gulls came off the GL well after that.

In June 2019, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) removed herring gulls and lesser black-backed gulls from general licenses due to concerns about their conservation status. The UK's conservation status for herring gulls is red, and amber for lesser black-backed gulls. Natural England (NE) assessed the scale of licensed activities and determined that the recent levels were unsustainable and could harm the population of both species.

yes they are

Hi, I`m not being confrontational here but I would like to know how they are recorded, I have searched for the AWC certificate on line and the only ones I can find do not have anywhere to record any details of any kind for air guns on them at all.

Mine is a single sheet licence (certificate) nowhere to record gun details ,was told by fettes firearm officer  exactly the same as your first post, unless they have changed the procedure in the last 4 years since i renewed my certs.

How long will it be before tighter controls are put on , or need to put on air rifle ownership , nearly every other week you are reading about Cats being shot with air rifle's , Swans and this week the police and R S P C A are investigating 10 Herring Gull found dead in a skip in Yarmouth

Air rifles are FAC only in this part of the UK
