magdie
It has been confirmed by the Royal Mail that the Trading Standards are making people aware of the following scam. A card is posted through your door by a company PDS (Parcel Deilvery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel. And that you need to contact them on this number 0906 6611911 which is a premium rate number. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER it is a Mail Scam originating in Balize. If you call the number and start to hear a recorded message you will already been billed for £15 for the phone call. If you receive a card with theses details. Please contact the Royal Mail Fraud Section on 02072396655 or ICSTIS ( Premium Rate Service Regulator )at WWW.ICSTIS.ORG.UK This email as just been sent to me by a friend in Scotland who is in the government security. Do just watch out and save yourself both money and grief.

Piebob
Your friend's not very good at his job then............ http://www.hoax-slayer.com/pds-phone-scam.html HE IS VERY GOOD AT HIS JOB. HE WORKS FOR THE TAX FRAUD DEPT, BUT THE COMMENT YOU MADE JUST SHOWS THE HIGHT IF YOUR INTELLIGENCE No it doesn't - it shows the height of 10 seconds of my googling skills If you or your friend had done the same you would have realised that this scam is 2 years old and is CLOSED DOWN. Most of these warnings (not this one, initially, I admit) are simply designed to clog up email systems.
