one dog found, one still missing

About a fortnight ago someone came and took a Russell from a landrover and a Springer from a kennel during the day!!!

They didn't take other tools including a chainsaw from the landy though.

A very BIG reward has been offered through certain channels for information.

The person who did this is not going to enjoy what they have done !!!

I would be beside myself if one of my dogs were taken. Hanging drawing and quartering would be too good for the culprits.

The Russell has turned up. Very thin and flea ridden but ok. It was found wandering about in a street by someone in Dartford.

The search can be narrowed down and the hunt for the culprits continues. The Springer is still missing

Glad you got one back and I hope you get the other :good:

Could be that the dog was dumped because it was tattoed inside one ear.

DARTFORD !!

We heard that someone else had terriers taken and they ended up on a ***** camp in dartford. The ****** reconed they owned the dogs. The Police were involved but they didn't get the dogs back because it couldn't be proved that these were the right dogs that had been taken.

i'm from dartford and there has been quite a few dogs go missing over the heath

the bit between shepards lane and upper heath lane

most people say their dogs are off the lead go off for a run and never come back

so the general thought is there are dog nappers about

so heed the warning

Thanks for the support. I might be seeing the owner tomorrow and I'll see if he's got any pictures of the dog.

The terrier that they got back was very thin and was flea ridden. The ******* probably hadnt feed the dog in the fortnight that it was gone and it must have been housed in poor conditions hence the fleas. Most likely there is a building loaded up with dogs housed in appalling conditions. The worst thing about this is that some evil plonker (THis is not the word that I typed. Mine was a lot stronger started with B>s>ta>d ) had tried to burn the tattoo out of the dogs ear, probably with a cigarette lighter !! Total scum.

The spaniel is a white with black patchy spots. It belonged to one of the trainee keepers.

I was told that the main man was not amused that it had happened and that a BIG reward had been offered through certain channels for information.

I saw the owner today but he didn’t have any pictures to hand at present. The dog a sprocker is white with black patch sports. The dog’s coat is fairly dappled and it has an undocked tail (long tail) and answers to the name of ARCHIE. The terrier was found in the area about ten minutes away from the m25 junction. Bit of a coincidence.

A van with three ****** came to the farm again yesterday made a quick getaway. Two of the keepers had seen them and tried to intercept them as they drove off the estate. There was a bit of trouble and it ended up with a quad being rammed and dozed along the roadway and one of the keepers upended on it. The ****** got away this time next time they might not.

Sorry to hear that mate I had a lab stolen a couple of years back he was half way through training I wa so angry and upset it is not until they are gone you realise how much you miss them. As typical the old bill did not want to know and nothing was ever heard or seen.

I wish you all the best in finding the springer mate.

It's not until something happens near you that you become aware of the dangers. Since this guys Springer was taken I have become aware that 3 out of 4 dogs that go missing in the UK do so from Kent !! It seems that there is a Bermuda triangle for dogs in the southeast. Only last night Tuesday there was a piece on the tv about a family in Ashford Kent whose dog had been stolen. They had to pay a large sum to a person in a supermarket car park to get their dog back. A bad thing that has come to light is the total incompetence of the police in all of this. Owner are told is "There is a lot of this sort of thing going on" and "How much is the dog worth?". The next Quip is "well you might be able to claim on your house insurance" or "If it turns up, We'll let you know where it is". What this means is, if it turns up we'll take it to a pound from where you can reclaim it at a high cost.

What happened to the police investigating crime and bringing stolen property back to its rightful owner? Rather than falling back on the insurance companies to sort it out.

When I was a kid most people had a high respect for the police but when I hear genuine people state, "The police are a waste of time, They'll not be interested" It's a bad day for us all.
