You said before you have a German pointer?.. yes I don’t have a retriever yet and can’t magic one out of thin air as much as I’d like to! I have a plan for spring 2025. My pointer doesn’t retrieve. Falconry dogs which she has been for 6 years, don’t retrieve for obvious reasons. So I go get my own ducks on foot or by Kayak. Not ideal but life isn’t is it.
