Acerforestry
So I have bought an old 56E from a forum member, with a view to a light restoration. The butt oval does the job but I have seen an image of a later 56 on a shooting website that has more of a recoil pad though that does have a flat stock end. Does anyone know if rubber Beretta pads are available to fit this profile? Also, have any members had much success with cold rebluing at home, I may give that a go

Acerforestry
That worked well, looks great. I will bear that option in mind, having had a scroll about is does seem curved stocks are limited to mainly plastic ovals

Acerforestry
Have just checked Kynoch ammo site, unfortunately the no.3 Silvers pad won't fit my stock, its too small. Pity, they suit the gun Edited 19 hours ago by Acerforestry
