Welshpestcontroller Posted February 22 Report Share Posted February 22 Winchester 101 XTR Waterfowl 12 gauge. 3 inch chamber, reproofed for high performance steel shot. This gun was made in the late 80’s , 30 inch multi choke barrel, 8.5 pounds in weight . 14.5 inch LOP Pit free barrels and chamber. This is an older gun and has seen some use, the bluing on the barrels is worn and the action could probably do with tightening, known as the Winchester wobble, it locks up as tight as a bank vault when closed with the forend but there is a wobble when it’s taken off. It has been recently re proofed so is safe but the price reflects the fact it may need work. Please do not expect a mint gun for the price, it’s perfectly usable and could be made to look new if it was reblued. £130 … a lot of gun for the money, selling because it is simply never shot. i am happy to RFD, I would need your certificate to fill in. my local RFD charges £75 to transfer… which is expensive but I have no say in it. located in North Wales SGC holders only.
