And for those of you who are not romantic and reckon it was an old feeding young bird (despite neck bands) scroll down. Kids (aled etc.. look away now.)

Clearly the "kissing" is a mating ritual of sorts I would imagine the male regurgitates food for female - thank **** we don't have to do this regurgitation lark lads :D

Arent they handsome looking birds though Teal?

Specially in the courting plumage.

This is a common thing with pigeon and dove as they are intensley loyal mates and often mutually preen one another and also can be seen "necking".

Birds will mate for life and may not take another mate if one is lost. Their unswerving devotion to each other and in raising their offspring is partially the reason I call a cessation to my decoying in he breeding months.

Like I said once before... Humans can learn a great deal from animals ( and birds)

 Well i don't know if i have signed my own death warrant but i have shown no favouritsm or respect of rank and i have edited Teal's pictures. :D

I seem to have to edit most pictures lately by reducing them down to a more viewable size. Please try and keep them down to a size no more than 640 x 540 pixels as this enables them to fit on the screen without having to scroll up and down.

 Right i better start clearing my desk then.:lol:
