Lord Geordie
Does anyone know a cheap place to get a full conversion done just a mixer type not a sequential as my car is a 1.4 1997 astra Cheapest I have found so far is in Warrington and is £600. A few year back I had a conversion done in Nottingham for £400 on another astra. Granted it was a guy running a garage from home but it was all above board and I got the certificates of fitting etc. Some of the prices are taking the preverbial urine and some tell you they need the car for 2 to 3 days The last one I had done was 1 day dropped off at 8am and finished by 5pm with a free tank of gas. If anyone knows a cheap place i don't really mind where as I can travel can they just let me know WHERE? Cheers LG

myuserid
Around £500 is the going rate, I was quoted £1100 to convert a disco a few years ago. I would say £600 is about right, go to yell.com there should be plenty on there.
al4x
not to be negative but is it actually worth doing. You should be getting close to 40mpg at the moment the re-pay time of the kit will be a long time unless you do a mega mileage.
