sidibear
Author Steven Bayley is writing a book about the iconic cars of the last 50years and one of them is a Ford Sierra, they had to make do with mine Famous still life photograher Tiff Hunter gets to take the pics. I was requested to attend a photoshoot in a church carpark in Birmingham, just happened to be a freezing cold day in December. I arrived to find a temporary studio erected in the car park, bloody muddy car park. I drove the car into the studio and made a bit of a mess, out came the mops His computerised equipment was a tad more expensive than my Sony cybershot. A few I took, I couldn't take many. His came out a lot better than mine did Tif then requested I got in the car so he could take my pic The book is due out sometime next year around September. I get a signed copy and an invite to the books launch at the Tate in London.

sidibear
mmmm bet that upsets some boy racers Like you wouldn't believe I went against an Evo 6 at Santa Pod and kept with him to the line, he got me by 2/100th of a second On the drive back to the pits he kept looking across at me and shaking his head in disbelief
henry d
You might think about photoshopping the licence plate so it is not visible ??
sidibear
I can see your point but there are lots of pics of this at shows on other car forums so even if I did hide the plate its easy to find on the web somewhere. I backed off at 147mph at Bruntingthorpe through the timing lights and it was still pulling, its geared for 155 mph. I don't think I have the bottle to take it flat out though. Anyone offering?
