Stealth Stalker
Well after finally getting my **** in to gear I picked up my new .243 Tikka T3 & T8 mod from Essex guns last Thursday, I got the wrong size mounts so have had to wait till today to get out over the Peltmans patch to zero her in. We put out a couple of targets 30 yds & 100 yds, we bore sighted it in and the first few shots needed a bit of adjustment before I had a go at the 100 yd target, the first 2 shots were touching but 5 inches high so it was dialed down & I was keyholing my groups :yp: Amazingly accurate straight out the box So an evening excursion was planned to check on some snares that yesterday received the unwanted attention of the local foxes I lost 4 rabbits along with the snares last night The Peltman & myself were each equiped with the lidl NV monocular and a quick scan in the field my snares were in lit up Charlie making his way to his newly found free restaurant. He was crossing left to right about 100 yds out, I got down on the bipod and Pelty gave a few squeaks, a quick flick of the red filtered lamp had him stood about 50 yds head on I placed the crosshairs on the center of his chest & gently squeezed the trigger. Thud! straight down without a twitch We then went for a wander over the golf course that Pelty manages to see if he could pick off a few bunnies with his rimmy and in side a wood alongside the golf course we were treated to a nice vocal barking of at least 3 Muntjac So hopefully there'll be some venison on the menu soon Pelty popped off a couple of nice bunnies to round off a great night Cheers Stealth Stalker

Stealth Stalker
Well done Lads How far out could ye confirm foxy with the Bressers? Cheers John ID'd at about 100 yds although the range estimation with the NV is difficult, it was more to do with knowing the lie of the land & where he was in the field Cheers for the other replies guys. I might go for another little wander tonight :( SS
