mikky
does having guns in the house affect your insurance policy ??
Cranfield
I make sure they are aware that they are there, just to make sure they are covered. I have never had a premium increased because of having them. Things can obviously vary from Insurer to Insurer.

fullbore
A very wise man at our gun club says do NOT specify firearms, just put sporting equipment. The recent kerfuffle with peoples details going missing from various government bodies substantiates this. People who work at the insurance companies can pass on your address to their burglar mates and tell them there are guns in your house.
