silver_fox
I have put up with this for a while now but it's starting to **** me off. I have a CZ varmint in .223, a Bushnell 3-9x50 scope with a Cluson gun light mounted on top. I am getting a lot of reflected glare from the back of my T8 mod which makes it impossible to use the scope at max magnification. If I move my head by a fraction of a millimeter I can't see a thing. I've tried a neoprene cover on the mod but I still get the reflection. Does any one know of the best way of damping down the glare?
tikkamark
I used to get that glare when using my setup a .223 with t8 mod and lightforce striker light the way i solved that was to adjust the beam of light just above the line of sight of the scope that got rid of the glare 100% and i can still see the target perfect,i dont know is the Cluson the same design can you adjust the beam-if so thats the only way of solving that prob. Only other thing to do would be to fit a sunshade to the bushnell
JohnGalway
Simple solution that many people don't seem to like. Find some bendy black opaque plastic. Cut out the desired shape that when put on th ebottom of your lamp will keep the lamp light off your moderator. Lamp light gone off mod, problem gone. Just keep the light off your moderator by putting a little lip out from the bottom of your lamp.
