Dunkield
We all have different eyes Says it all. To my eyes Swarovski's knock the spots of anything else I have looked though.
JRDS
At the end of the day if it does the job and you are happy with it then what does it matter. Back to the original thread and the rifle, if you cut it I would recommend 18mm, leaves plenty on.

Leica binoculars are superior to Swaro's through my eyes. Each to there own.
Dunkield
Quite a few people say that WB, I have said this before (not at the Brighton conference ) if Leica entered the rifle scope market it they would clean up at the top end. duey
Any top end fixed power scope will be better than a top end variable scope as there is no compromise, but i will admit the the leupolds are very critical on eye relief on the variable power scopes that i have esp at max power, 25x ian

I know what your saying Stuart, but one of my my brothers spends a fortune on optics (telescopes ~£6K each) for his business (looks through a telescope & binos in the most fantastic scenery for a living!) and over the years he has had most, but Leica are no where near as good as the Swaro's he sticks with now.
