harryhawk
I thought about asking this in the "tips and tricks" forum. Has anyone got any ideas on what to get a country sports widow on Valentines day? I've got to sweeten her up thruout February otherwise I'll end up doing DIY and not the important things like decoying and roost shooting over the weekends. Any suggestions greatly recieved!! But she's said she won't be sharing a hide not even with George Clooney!
Cranfield
I think you have to know the lady very well and her tastes, to select the right present. When in doubt, flowers and/or chocolates, always work.
highdowns hunter
Give her £300 and send her to your local gunshop to buy goodies for you They are all happy so long as they are spending money
Pigeon Pieman
Give her some of your time - or make her think you have! Here's how it works... 1. Pick a day you know you couldn't go shooting even if you wanted to t- that's the tricky part!). 2. Get a mate to 'call' you, saying your services are urgently needed. 3. Tell him 'no', you are going to give it a miss, and spend the day with your 'good lady'. 4. Tell him it's no good crying and begging, your mind is made up. 5. Finally, make sure this all happens within earshot of your other half! So many Brownie points will be won you'lll struggle to use them all up!! Yorkshire Pudding
Try this one. I've always told r lass that i dont need a special day to tell her i love her.Blah Blah blah. Now i dont even need to get her a card. If on the odd ocasion a card is bought....lol it makes it all the more "special" all the best
