Browning GTS
Oops spelling Badger even Got to have a look at this on Wednesday Wonderland tales from Bodmin Moor. About a man who eats road kill including Fox, Badger and Otter, looks interesting but i dont think i would fancy some of it. As usuall the bunny huggers get a look in he gets nuisance calls from people pretending to be the ghosts of animals he has eaten but also threats aganst him and his property. Cranfield
Easily corrected. There was an article in a magazine some years ago about a bloke that did this, I remember his name was Trubshaw (same as the Concord test pilot), he did seem a bit eccentric to say the least. I wonder if its the same bloke.

Blackpowder
Easily corrected. There was an article in a magazine some years ago about a bloke that did this, I remember his name was Trubshaw (same as the Concord test pilot), he did seem a bit eccentric to say the least. I wonder if its the same bloke. I am sure that going back years and years ago someone was writing in Shooting Times about curing badger meat to bacon. Have any other forum members any recollection of this?? blackpowder
lurcherboy
Nope, but there was a pub in Kent that held regular-when legal-badger roasts and some member only sessions when it went out of fashion  It was a few years back mind you. I'm sure if you do a search it will surface LB
wy111
Apparently Badger Hams used to be eaten quite a lot, similar to a mild wild boar flavour

Baldrick
A farmer friend of mine says that smoked badger is pretty damned tasty, and worth a go if you happen to find some fresh roadkill and have access to a smoker.
auto culto
an old colleague of mine swears it one of his most favorite meats. He even made me some badger chutney once and it was very good
