Stour-boy
Hi Guys we should think ourselves lucky, I am on holiday in New Zealand and there are no wood pigeons, the only pigeons they seem to have are a protected species which is similar to the wood pigeon we have at home but the markings are different and there are not many of them and they are not considered to be a pest.Home next wek and hope to be getting in amongst them,

Plenty of Deer and most famous of all Tahr. I think i'd manage without Pigeons if i lived there. :o LG I went fishing up on the Murray last easter and had a great time pulling in the cod, i didn't manage any new records with the cod but caught a fairly large Golden Perch who put up quite a fight. It was a great week none the less.

Just Victoria and the Murray River which is technically NSW (just). Maybe we could meet half way? Your up in QLD aren't you?
lurcherboy
Stick to the south island if you make a visit. Boar hunting with dogs, deer and game fishing all year round, the woodies can only be taken by native people which is a shame as they are twice the size of ours.
