harv
thanks for the comments guys, the trigger is factiory only i must of had a lucky day because it breaks very light and has no take up i dont think it could be improved upon really. the scope is a sightron s2 from the states, they are not easy to find over here 4-16-42 with a fine mildot reticule fantastic quality optics. the wood was ordered from canada its quilted maple. i then sent it directlt from canada to richards microfit in the states for shaping and inletting( not the best job).and very slow took a few months to arrive. i spent approx 20 hrs to finish, it was shaped very rough and the inletting was hopeless i'd say about 70% finished. the peice of maple cost approx 80 quid the inletting a bit more, richards added the rosewood tip and cap plus the butt pad. i paid 35 quid import duty so in total just over two hundred quid however really enjoyed the finishing apart from sanding out the barrel channel took yonks. i guess total cost for the gun including scope is just short of a grand. dunganick
behind custom stocks often lies months of waiting and untold missery, ask me or stuartp Lovely stock, the maple looks lovely, the tips and caps set it off nicely as well.
