Lloyd90
My local gun shop is probally the best point for me to look , here is a list of the makes of guns they have. Just click on a make and it shows you the guns they have ... http://www.keenstackleandguns.co.uk/catalo...earms-81-1.html Im also considering buying privately from people on this very site although its not definate. Would appreciate any help. Would primarily be used for plinking / rabbit / crow shooting. Appreciate any tips and help. What would be best to start. I know a bolt action would promote better accuracy but is a semi that much more fun / better for hunting ? Appreciate tips and help
BSA Shaun
First off do you have your FAC? Then get down the shop and try a few for fit etc
bob300w
Ruger 10/22! The most fun that you can have with your clothes on! Plenty accurate enough for 22 distances, huge variety of after-market accessories, spares held by the container load at Viking Arms (Importers)not that you are ever likely to need them. They have been around a long time, and going to be around for a lot longer. Slightly biased view, but I own a couple!
beatingisbest
Any well made air rifle would be best IMHO

tjdwillis
what have you got on ur certificate? if ur concidering semi must be .22lr? iv got a ruger 10/22, good fun but hardly use it since i got a .17hmr. if its not to late i would go for a 17hmr. if its .22 then there are plenty of good s/h rifles on the market, just go and have a look and see what feels right! Big_Sam
Like the other chaps said, there is little point going shopping if you don't have your FAC. Even once the application is in you will have a few weeks to wait and look around.
