chrispti
Evening gents, Would just like your views and recomendations on pigeon flappers please? I have previously, over the years, been using a manual flapper (the old one that you have to pull on the string to make it flap) which I must say works VERY well indeed.................. until I broke it !!!!!! Many thanks in advance Edited March 18, 2008 by chrispti

Cranfield
Look at the one in the Shootwarehouse website (link at the top of the page), they are very popular and well made. Some of the cheaper ones are rather prone to breaking, or falling apart .

Mutley
As Cranfield says try Shootwarehouse!...I ordered one with remote and battery on monday and have just opened it (wens) Service or what? ....These guys are helpful beyound the cause and will answer any querries. That alone is worth it's weight!! Have yet to use this bit of kit, but i have no concerns as 1 it looks well made and robust....2 if it's faulty i know i'll be sorted Why go else where? As a lot of people say on here you get what you pay for...They may not be the cheapest (But pritty close) But the service, advice, deleivey and customer satisfaction they win hands down for me

chrispti
I bought a remote one from *Bay and it works wonders £40 or so better than any magnet when ive used it Do the wings stay open on it, or do they fold away??
mosa
Thats where mine is a pain. Both wings screw on with 3 tiny screws each side so transporting with the rest of my gear i have to put it in my game bag but im always checking nothing has snapped off it. I would remove the wings every time but the thought of dropping a screw into the rape doesnt bear thinking about. But i think they are worth it. mine is the remote type which sometimes takes a number of presses to start and stop it but otherwise spot on! hope this helps
