tweedledee
do you mean eley wasps.the older bsa guns and other english guns needed a bigger pellet than the standard 22 we use today.you may find the 5.6 is too tight for your boore and you should try pellets at 5.5 instead.wasps come in 2 colours pink and blue .try accupels or another brand. SteveieP
I've had the remains of a can of Milbro TR's for the last 2 years as they won't even fit in the breach of 2 of my rifles. Fit well in the Webley Hurricane pistol (circa 1984) which is stamped as a 5.6mm barrel, but not much used these days. Was having a little play yesterday & noticed the Accupels are a tighter fit than say AA Fields & depite being lighter (than the AA's) produced a more discernable kick when fired. Relivingmyouth did some extensive testing & posted his results but never mentioned any getting stuck.

relivingmyyouth
No, nothing got stuck but the Nickerson Magnum Points which are a twin Ring design did blow the breach seal on the Webley. They were very tight in all the guns. I'm not a real expert but none of the twin ring pellets I tested faired very well.

tosspot
think in days of old we (the Brits) decided that .22 in old money equalled 5.6 in new money when the rest of the world decided upon 5.5 hence the old adage of use Brit pellets in a Brit gun as they actually fitted properly ps those rules don't apply so much today
