Pirate
1. There are seven coins, which look identical. One of the seven coins weighs slightly less than the other six. Using a balance scale, how could you determine which is the light coin in a maximum of just two weighings? 2. Three switches outside a windowless room are connected to three light bulbs inside the room. How can you determine which switch is connected to which bulb if you may enter the room only once? 3. So, what colour is her blouse? 4. Which one is the odd one out? URN URA ARS RTH TER NUS 5. Tom is staring through a window on the 26th floor, he opens the window and sits on the sill. Sick of his dreary job, he jumps. And walked home completely unharmed. How? Pirate:
roadkill
1 2 Switch one light on for a minute; turn it off and turn another on. Go into the room and feel the off-bulbs. The warm one is connected to the first switch, the on-bulb is connected to the second. 3 4 URA. The other three-letter sets are the last three letters in the names of the planETS (SatURN MARS EaRTH JupiTER and UraNUS). URA is the first three letters in the name of the planet Uranus.
