Bazooka Joe
Technical.......these are Sporting Pictures, these Rabbits were shot. Hope this doesn't hit the UK, they are undecided what it is at the moment, talk of a new strain of Mixy, or it could be linked to the Tassi Devil problem. BJ. Zapp
I have shot bunnies here which have had a very similar looking condition on their legs and less serious growths on their faces. The worst one I ever encountered was also severely malnourished. ZB

Zapp
I have shot bunnies here which have had a very similar looking condition on their legs and less serious growths on their faces. Hi Zapp, did you not take any photo's? BJ. Sadly no. They were turning up all the time last year though (mid to late summer). I'll take some next time I get one and post it up. Edited to add that the occurence of rabbits with such growths coincided with a very heavy bout of mixy in the nearby warrens. Jonathan G
I shot one late last summer, in Worcestershire, with exactly the same growths on the legs and around the face. Thankfully it's the only one I've seen.

cappy0766
It looks like the skin disorder, Orf, which is very common in sheep. Never heard of it in rabbits although humans and other livestock/animals can contract it. It is easily dealt with, but left untreated can block the airways. Steve.
