Suffolk shooter
'tis true, they are warming up to deploy shortly. Increased activity at the nearby airfield and inside source confirms this. SS

Suffolk shooter
Part of the problem is the amalgamation and basic obliteration of our nations combined forces. In times not to distant we could have fought on all fronts and had plenty of reserves at home for the military fairs/parades/events etc. At the moment there is the highest number of territorial reserves serving on the front line and not all with the most upto date equipment due to defence budget cuts. Suffolk shooter
I remember going to the tattoo at Aldershot many years ago, what a fantastic day, so much to see and do and relatively cheap day out as well, but these days events are costing so much just to turn up and walk around only, because you cant afford to buy the overpriced merchandise whilst there. Shame really, because I believe the armed forces especially would get more recruits if they held such days again due to young adults being able to see and talk to the guys who are actually serving and watch what it is there job involves when not abroad fighting. Bagsy
I took part in a display in Abbey Fields in Colly once, right good laugh. I remember it well, I'd had a 'dispute' with another squaddie the previous day in the high street when he had a load of mates with him. Imagine my joy at bumping into him at the display - without his mates (or the drink in him!) On another note, Colly football clubs new ground is looking good as you pass it on the A12
