UnclePete
Just joined this forum, saying hallo. I'm in north-east Scotland, have a Miroku 600 and a fine old Russian hammergun. Doesn't say Baikal anywhere on it, but that's how it's shown on my cert. Edit: How could I forget my trusty AA Pro Sport, fine machinery that is. UnclePete
Hello and welcome to PW And a fine choice of gun I must say ... even if I am biased!!!! I shoot with just the same and had the chokes opened up to 1/4 and 1/2 cheers malk I take it you mean the Miroku? Then we are men of exquisite taste and refinement! I bought mine s/h in 1989 from International Firearms in Essex, and I have never even considered changing it. I had gone through a string of guns, a Lanber, a Beretta, a Remmy 1100, another Beretta, none of them felt right to me. The Lanber and Berettas taught me what a pain in the proverbial multi-chokes are, the Remmy taught me that sharp machined edges cause sudden loss of blood. The shop was advertising a Laurona I fancied, but when I picked up the Miroku I knew this was the gun I'd been looking for. I had to negotiate a trade-in with the owner Graham, who was on business somewhere, and that was the first time I ever spoke to someone with a mobile phone. Thanks for the welcome!
