digger
tonight with trevor mcdonald was entitled "countryside at war".had it been on the bbc i would not have bothered but i have to take my hat off to itv. the pro hunt side was given slightly more coverage than that of the bunny huggers ( the soppiest pair of tw&ts i have ever seen) and those interviewed were eloquent and simon clarke especially so.he even made the basc look pro hunting and that takes some doing. high light was an anti who had his nose broken and was concussed for a week because he was hit from behind by a horse.what the ***** failed to mention was the fact that he was on private land and was hit unintentionaly. pete evans
i felt that there was too much emphasis on aggression against antis, it goes both ways. also a little disapointed that the basc spokesman was talking about hunting in the past tense, its still legal. pete
jimdfish
Did you get the feeling that BASC have accepted defeat? Jim
digger
think it was a case of "oh fudge, horse, stable door, bolt" agree with you pete that it was spoken of in the past tense, not good at all. as for the violence all i saw were people going about their lawful buisness on private land and trying to protect it.if i came home and some idiot was trying to lock my own gate too right id be agressive.
