walther G22 semi-auto

I owned one for a short while last summer, thinking that the G22 would be a good rifle for shooting from a truck cab. I had bought the gun as it is (I believe) the only true left-hand semi-auto .22. It is a nasty plasticky gun with a dreadful trigger (due to the necessary linage that most bullpup designs require). The scope can only be mounted on the carry handle, several inches above the bore-line (hardly ideal). The scope mount is also integrated with the plastic chassis and is not fixed to the barrel. As you may guess, this gives pretty poor accuracy and consistency. The G22's bore cannot be cleaned without stripping the weapon down.

Don't be fooled into thinking that the Walthar name is what it once was. Walthar is now owned by Umarex, which is more famous for crappy CO2 air pistols.

For the less money you can have an ultra-reliable, accurate and unfussy CZ 452 bolt-action, that will probably outlive you, and that will suck up a lot of punishment.

Hi couple of club members use them on the targets and vermin Ive tried one

and ok for wasting ammo quickly, not as accurate as the little buckmark but

nice and light to use and cycle most makes of ammo, everyones looking at the

new GSG5 at the moment which is outselling everything but has a supply problem

due to demand, tried one and theyre mint and even quicker at wasting ammo,

but the g22 is an ok rifle and cheaper.Google the gsg5 and watch thier vid amazing.
