myself use Oakley M-Frames which are apparently bullet proof/resistant and so whilst my whole face would be blown away when a shotgun goes off in it i'd still have beautiful eyes

go on ebay mate there are loads much cheaper. you need an orange/yellow for low light a clear and a tinted set for sun. dont bother forking out huge amounts as going down a hardware shop will get you a set of yellow and clear they use in industry for like £5.

p.s if you are shooting trap you may find that they obscure the view when you start because of the black frame across the top of them, when your head is premounted on the stock^^

all the best

I have seen these glasses on the Avalon site and wondered if anyone of you's have tried them.I  will require them with a prescription insert.

I'm afraid with glasses, you get what you pay for.

Those Avalon gun jobbies are OK for people with perfect vision, if you need proper prescription shooting glasses, I suggest you look here:

I have 2 pairs of the Zeiss ones, they're not cheap, but they're good.

I use a pair of oaklley X metal with gold irridium lenses, they make a huge difference, especially if the clay is against a dark background.

I have a pair of yellow shooting glasses bought from a shop, but prefer to wear the oakleys, if i ever broke them i would replace them straight away with another pair
