mirokujames
cheers pal, any reccomendations on filters?
Poacher
no idea mate, sorry. I would guess that the 20-30db filters are likely to be more popular/effective as its more expensive. Thats all i can contribute

gdunc
emtec noise breakers £75.00 is, moulded to your ears, work great and you can still hear people talking  I got a pair of the emtec ones through work and they are very comfortable and filter very well. As above you can hear voice (although my own sounds a bit odd through them!) and they keep out the loud stuff. Some bloke came out to fit us so not sure if you can DIY the moulds. Because i live in an awkward place. can you get moulds from say nhs or one of the specsaver hearing places and send them in? or do they have to mould u themselves? neil smith
+1 for the Green Leopards Iv'e had some for the last 4 years & they are very good & show no visible signs of wear & they get a lot of use, I had the filters fitted later but to be honest I think its a waist of money because they are still too quiet & you tend to twist one of them in your ear in order to have a conversation with others but I would never go back to earmuffs, no more banging the stock of your gun on your hearing protection or smart ***** tapping them with things to make you jump They were £50 but as I say that was a good while ago, molding only took about 10 minutes. Browning GTS
Ive got the green leopards i did not get a filter fitted because my ears were to narrow but still get on really well with them, it is easy to forget you are wearing them, i still use electonic ones when i know the farmer is around because they allow you to hear better if someone comes nearby

WGD
Another Emtec fan here, I paid £80 earlier this year for my Noisebreakers and I'm very pleased with them. I e-mailed them to get confirmation of my local agent and got a prompt and helpful response: info@noisebreaker.co.uk WGD
