Hunter2
Hi I have a .17hmr cz 452 american 16" . The question to all you cz owners, what make of mounts are you using. As the mounts i am using seem to be pushing the scope off centre (if this makes sense). So when i come to zero,i am using all the left/right windage adjustment to compensate.depending on which way the mounts are mounted. Off to CLA on saturday and I will need to get a decent scope and mounts. But what mounts! Regards Derek

Dunkield
i just use the sportsmatch type on my 452 Same. No problems at all, the ones you have are for the wrong size dovetail I would say.
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
BKL Twinstraps, note the one piece base, fits either 3/8" or 11mm, I use these on all my rifles. No cross over any more.

Hunter2
Thanks guys i have changed them to bsa sports match on both cz 452 22lr and the 17hmr. i will be down the range on sunday hopefully be able to zero correctly.before i go out in the field. they are dovetail 11mm so the hawke mounts just seemed to leave me no windage i do understand now that the mounts are universal shall we say by turning the lower clamp mount around and maybe it was this that caused the error. thanks guys for all your replies
Blackbart
Your .22 is 11mm,BUT your 17hmr isnt!!

These are the best mounts for the 452's as they grip the 3/8 dovetails better.
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Won't use anything else now. http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh316/D...EA/DSCN4954.jpg http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh316/D...EA/DSCN4953.jpg They are stiff to do up, when you think the'rs tight you'll find the're not. Only due to the design. The imperial allen key supplied is short, you do need a bit more leverage to get tight.

Loadsa pockets, two shoulder straps or one if you prefer, full zip, & straps inside to help keep your rifle still. Quite a few clones about as well. What scope is it aswell and also how long have you had that barrel cut down to ? It may be the 16" one and the long scope is making it look smaller to me haha! It's a std 452 2E .22 cut to 14" & the scope is a Simmons Prairie Master 6-24X50 with Butler Creeks. The mounts are BKL's & the scope just clears the barrel.
