long netting advice

i have got a lovely bit of permission that would be ideal for longnetting ................BUT................. i have never done it

 

i have been having a look around and there seems to be a selection of nets 25, 50, 75 & 100 yds

 

having not done it before i don't want to waste my money on 100yds of net that potentially might not get used too often

 

i have recced the runs for the last few weeks and the runs back into the woods are from one end to the other at most 25 yds apart if you get my meaning

 

would i need to set a 100yd net to cover these runs or would a 50 yd net do the trick

 

i have seen a few post regarding where nets can be bought so once i know hopefully i can get going

there is'nt a legal footpath across the land but a fair few people walk there dogs across there

 

i did think about setting a few late and night and getting there early in the morning and picking them up before anyone got out but decided it wasn't worth the risk

Use the search button in the top right hand corner. Run two searches on with longnet and the other with longnetting. You will come up with a wealth of information form some of the best out there.

Set them up and be back before the dog walkers
