Benelli Nova?

I wonder how often he'd actually be able to shoot 5 shots, assuming he doesn't miss. For me I think 3 shots would easily be sufficient. I can rarely think of a situation when i could have fired more than that in the time before the rest of them are out of shot.

as my mates grandparents own 3 farms they have quite a few yards.. and all the jackdaws, pigeons and starlings come down on the silage and barely mix.

so the first shot he hits a few, same for second. but he wants to hit the pigeons a few times before they go out of range.

i might go over there next week with 12bore and .22

he shot 33 starlings yesterday with an air rifle on the barely.

The Nova can and will take 7  x  3 1/2 carts.

Best tell Benelli then, they are under the impression that it's five.....

Mark,

They sell a extension tube with a barrel support.

Direct quote from the Nova manual

' Firearms version with the short magazine containing four cartridges can be fitted with a magazine extension tube that increases their capacity to five or six/seven cartridges depending on the length of the cartridge ' Page 43.
