ME
I generally read autobiographies and books on business. The last few I have read I admit have been a let down. I have just read Theo Paphitus and previous to that Duncan Bannatynes. Anyone else feel that these people cobble any old **** together just to make more bunce ? Anyone recommend any business books ? darebear
the majority of autobiographies that i read, are in relation to musicians in the rock/metal world. i love 'em.
Markio
Danny Sugarman - Wonderland Avenue (Doors hanger-on and then manager of their legacy) Can remember the title but written by Richard Cole Led Zep Tour manager. Sex and Drugs and rock and roll, surely more interesting than reading about some sock shop owner!?!?!
Bagsy
Not business related but I recently read General Sir Mike Jacksons autobiography. Some like him, lots don't but I enjoyed the book and found it a riveting read from start to finish.

Maiden22
I think that most of them are a waste of perfectly good trees. Self-indulgent twaddle by and large. Frank Sinatra showed the correct attitude when he said that he wouldn't write an autobiography because he wasn't proud of too many things he had done. Incidentally, I would be amazed if many of the ones mentioned are autobiographies. One has to write those oneself, afterall  . Chard
I don't read autobiographies. I don't like people blowing their own trumpets and I don't believe half of it anyway, so no point in reading it. I'll stick to books that are actually labelled "fiction"
