lurcherboy
Went to see YP's dog, Lemmy, playing at Folkestone on Tuesday night. Its now Thursday night and I am still experiencing some ringing in my ears (no jim its not my mobile) So I suggest that you wear earplugs when seeing Lemmy in action except for you Jimd, wear a funnel in both ears to get the most benefit. what what? Blindin' gig YP and Sepulture was good. They got a black singer now, when did that happen? LB :(

Soulfly are good! Though if you're deaf from a Motorhead gig you might want to avoid a Soulfly one! lol
Pike
Good one LB. I saw Status Quo play the Brentwood centre last week and my teeth only stopped vibrating yesterday!
red_stag88
I havent heard of Sant Pod. I am continuously getting told by my House Master to turn my music down, happened just now. Where ever I may roam at half volume from an old, old, old Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 3000 is nice  \m/Red
Wookie
I got guest-listed last time I went to see Motorhead. A mate had a word with a mate of his that is the bassist for Groop Dogdrill and put me on the list for their gig up at UEA a few years ago. Absolutely ace... Couldn't hear for a week and was knackered from the moshing. Ah, those were the days... Wookie
lurcherboy
Sorry Red, I meant Santa Pod, its a drag raceway in the mids, not a band. Mad, I knew I reconised him but was so wasted I couldn't put 2+2 together. Jess, I seriously doubt the fact that Soulfly may be louder than ' we are motorhead and we play rock 'n' roll' Pike, saw the mighty Quo at the Hammersmith Odeon many, many years ago and loved it!!!! They are playing Folkestone too, but it was sold out as soon as the tickets went on sale back in the summer, well popular still. Roll over and lay down and let me in  LB

I have heard of Santa Pod, but I wasn't sure if there was a band too  Jess, Motorhead may be slightly louder than Soulfly. LB Are you up to writing to the England rugby team and have them cry "Deaf Forever!" at the start instead of Swing low. It has lyrics pertinent to the game
