Mungler
Didn't see what was wrong with it - all harmless. It's not as though anything got harmed, unlike squirrel catapult
A Sick Old Man
There was a thing not so long ago for potato guns, I will not put a link as I got in "Moderator Trouble" for it One thing I was wondering, why did he put the items all the way down the tube? He could have just stuck them and inch up the other end Lethal bit of kit though, much safer than the black powder cannon my mate and I messed about with when we were kids. That was made out of Copper Tube, we were lucky not to have been hurt

njc110381
I can't see a problem with it myself. I assume it's legal to make that kind of stuff in america, just like the potato cannon. He isn't doing any harm with it. I always wanted to build a spud gun myself, but read somewhere that it's illegal (typical, if it's fun then it's going to be illegal around here!). What harm do they do? Obviously if you shoot your mate with it then it's going to cause trouble, but then it would also cause trouble if you hit him with the cricket bat that your school allowed you to use. I don't get it http://www.metacafe.com/watch/89406/potato_cannon/ Looks fun to me!
MAJ2
Terrifying stuff in the wrong hands, but like so many more, I made things like this when I was a kid. Can anyone remember Clarkson making a cannon of sorts from a pedal bin and a can of hairspray? It fired a frozen turkey across the studio.
