plinker
100yds is normal but you could strt at 50 when it is in the bull move back to 100.
Jonno243
Not sure about the ballistics of the .223, but for the .243 I zero 1" high at 100yds.
rustynator
Not sure about the ballistics of the .223, but for the .243 I zero 1" high at 100yds. Same here, 1" high at 100 yards with my Tikka T3 .
triscrx
Read a book called 'Dead On' - The long range Marksmans Guide to Extreme Accuracy by Tony M Noblitt & Warren gabrilska. Not a bad book in there they recommend 100Yds. Cheers guys
onelesscharlie
Hi I agree with the other chaps..... rough zero at 50 yards then adjust to give yourself 1" high at 100 yards. That will mean you wont have to worry about thinking about anything else other than the shot at anywhere between 100 and 200. Dont get over reliant on the set trigger, they arent the most reliable things on a CZ Good hunting OLC
casts_by_fly
to get the scope on paper I'll always start at 25 yards and get it between dead bull and 1" high (elevation not as important as windage) and dead windage before I move back to 100. Usually 3 shots at 25 is enough to get you pretty close at 100. Thanks, Rick
njc110381
I've never had a problem with the set trigger on my 527. I zero an inch high at
shoot57
i go for dead on at 150yds which is probably 1 inch high at 100yds, by the way i agree, i have never had any problems with the set trigger, i personally would never want any other type
